Job Description:
Responsible for creation, operation and maintenance in the following areas:
1) direct support for technology solutions to Faculty, staff and students,
2) machine room,
3) operating systems,
4) computing hardware and system,
5) network security or major upgrades to facility.
Provides network assistance in a heterogeneous computing environment (UNIX, LINUX,
Windows 98/2000/XP/2003 server) to include STF coordinator of computing labs,
working with the network administrator providing analysis and resolution. My position
performs:
1) deploying Microsoft Server 2003 and licensing
2) loading a Sun Sparc WS with Solaris/configuring to custom network or installing
and configuring Windows XP across a broad spectrum of PCs),
3) upgrades, analysis and maintenance of all assigned systems.
4) Ensures the security of applications and data residing on them through
passwording, permissions, ownership or account setup (Windows or Solaris).
5) Analyzes and resolves installation, hardware, connectivity and security issues
within the network/distributed environment as a team member across multiple
platforms.

include device drivers and configuration management of each project. Team leader duties
were included. Support several other engineering departments in providing a working
custom simulation environment for their development into a fully operational aviation
simulator. Areas of aviation included private, commercial and military aircraft.
Developer of navigational and integration of visual systems for aviation simulation. Use
of mathematical modeling and knowledge of aviation systems necessary. Worked
